BIG news hit social media this week! Misao Okawa, the oldest person in the world and the oldest Japanese person ever celebrated her 117th birthday on March 5.
Okawa has been a widow for 84 years and two of her three children are in their 90’s with four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She enjoys three large meals a day, her favorite meal is sushi and sleeps eight hours a night.
